SASS-MoKAN invites you to a Day of Healing. As survivors, we forget to take good care of ourselves.
We are offering the following presentation/ information to help spiritually and physically: words of comfort, meditation & yoga breathing, therapeutic massages, aromatherapy, reflexology, healthy snacks and beverages. Private massages and private yoga meditation will also be offered. You can sign in for the available time slots on arrival.

World Suicide Prevention Day
Monday September 10 is World Suicide Prevention Day, and the International Association for Suicide Prevention
suggests two world-wide activities.
International Association for Suicide Prevention
1. Light a Candle near a window at 8pm to show your support for suicide prevention to remember a lost loved one
and for survivors of suicide.
2. Take Five to Save a Life: This will be an online/social networking event where people will log on to a website and
join the movement to prevent suicide. Coordinated by
SAVE, Suicide Awareness Voices of Education
The 9th Annual Remembrance Walk
The walk will take place in September at Loose Park.

5th Annual Remembrance Service

November 19th is the Annual National Survivors of Suicide Day. The American Foundation of Suicide
Prevention is offering a free 90 minute webcast. The broadcast features a panel of experienced survivors and mental
health professionals and offers emotional support and information about resources for healing after the loss of a
